Billboard embraces BLACKPINK as its first Korean cover girls
A pink-coloured photo image of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK graces the cover of Billboard magazine’s March edition, the first time a Korean female group has done so.
The cover image was released on Billboard’s website on Thursday last week, showing the four BLACKPINK members, clad in colourful dresses, lying on their backs and staring up at the camera.
“After years training for US domination, K-pop’s new queens finally touch down”, Billboard said on the cover.

The Malaysian actress plays a stern mother in the film but is best known for her work with Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, which earned the title “female Jackie Chan”.
